Nissan Quest Review And Specs

Nissan Questt is the newest member of the minivan to awaken from its dormant state. Many experts thought would never come back because there was no old edition. Quest joins the new version of Toyota Sienna and Honda Odyssey engine. They enter the fray along with Chrysler’s one-two punch: the Town & Country and Dodge Grand Caravan minivans, which have also been upgraded with better engines and upgraded interior and exterior styling. Compared with Quest clumsy appearance of age, the style of this version is much nicer.

The total project has curves and sculpture for the hood, rear quarter panels and doors, which reduces the typical minivan’s boxy appearance. The rear surround allows the tailgate to match perfectly with the rest of the body, despite its extreme position. Along with Nissan Quest new uniforms, the designers reduced the distance between the front and rear wheels at about 15 cm, bringing that number more in line with the competition. This should make the Nissan Quest more agile in tight spaces, without too great a sacrifice in ride quality or the passenger room. Likewise, the new interior blends function and form, with gauge shell bigger and bolder, more clearly defined parameters and with the shift mounted on top of the dashboard, the abundance of access passages between the front doors.

Like most minivans, there are three rows of seats, but the Nissan Quest comes with second-row high-back buckets, rather than a more typical bank. Also unique is the split folding third row of three seats that tilt forward to create a flat load surface. That is, instead of doubling back, just below the surface, which in the case of Nissan Quest is always available for storage of small discrete items. Quest  ’s 3.5-liter V6 is the workhorse for a number of Nissan cars and trucks. Nissan Quest makes 253 horsepower, up from 235 horses. Director power to the front wheels is done by a continuously variable transmission (CVT), which became another favorite Nissan.

It replaces the previous Nissan Quest five-speed automatic. The CVT changes the ”art” to keep the engine at its most efficient rpm range. When driving, a CVT feels like a normal automatic transmission that ’s of slides: shift rotations out of sync with the rate of acceleration. Almost every minivan offers at least a very unique trick up its sleeve and putting s Quest  ”in this category is called” early warning to fill tires. Attaching an air hose to the valve wheel causes the hazard lights flashing, signaling that a good tube connection to the trunk was made. A short beep of the horn indicates that the correct tire pressure has been reached.

The rest of the equipment of the base model includes air conditioning S expected, the controls of radio operation and basic four speaker / CD player, plus roof rack and key less starter button. Moving to the SV adds tri-zone air conditioning (driver, passenger and rear seats), power sliding side doors, fog lights, heated front seats and a package of six speakers. The SL close-to-the-top push the content further with leather seating, power driver’s seats, 18 inch wheels (16-inch are standard) and a power lift-gate.

The top-rung LE is finished off with a 13 speaker Bose sound system, touch-screen navigation, the seat DVD player and power folding third-row seat. The LE also gets Nissan’s new Advanced Climate Control System, which includes an air filter and special filter that reduces odors and allergens invading the cabin. Its competitors were busy bringing new products may undermine attempts Nissan’s one in return. Fortunately, the latest Quest has plenty of style and substance that should resonate with customers that range. For these people, it’s a very Nissan Quest is worth considering.
